Can I get a receipt?

Yes of course! Please email us on education@humankindhair.co.uk with your full name, business name and the date and name of the course you have booked, and we will happily provide you with a receipt.

Where are in person courses held?

Our London courses are primarily run from Tribe salon in Clapham.

Courses outside of London are in various locations. Please check the course info page and your course confirmation email for details.

How do I get there?

Tribe salon in London Clapham is just opposite Clapham Common tube station on the northern line. The address is 11 The Pavement, SW4 0HY. Pop this into Google maps and you’ll find a variety of ways to get there from your location!

For regional courses outside of London, please check your course confirmation email.

What tools do I need to bring?

An apron, clips, pintail, hairdryer, straightening irons, brushes and combs. A notepad and pen, fully charged camera phone and a face covering.

Do I need to bring a model?

No. Courses with live models will be provided by us.

Is lunch provided?

Lunch is not provided, but there are plenty of options near to our London academy location to suit all dietary requirements. You will literally be spoiled for choice!

What time will I finish?

Courses finish at around 5.30pm so please allow enough time when booking your journey home.

I need to book a hotel, where should I stay?

The Preimier Inn in Clapham is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute taxi/uber away and is very reasonably priced. Alternatively, The Windmill on Clapham Common is just a 10 minute walk across the park. There are also many other options nearby.

What if I need to cancel my booking or can’t make it on the day?

Our cancellation policy is 14 days to change or cancel a booking. For more information, please see our Terms of Service.

Online courses

Online courses are carried out over Zoom for which you will need to create a free account, with the user name set as the name of the person booked on the course. We recommend setting this up now to avoid last minute panic!

You can watch on a laptop or mobile device.

The course time, date and duration can be found on the course information page or in your confirmation email.

The link for the course will be sent out the day/evening before the course.

This often goes to your junk/spam folder so please be sure to check there before contacting us. You can search for it by typing in ‘humankind’ into your email search bar at the top of the page. If you have not received it by the day your course takes place, please email us on education@humankindhair.co.uk

Course links are not permitted to be shared with anybody at all. If caught in breach of this rule you will not be permitted to join the course or any other future courses with Humankind Hair. This may sound a bit savage but 1) it’s our livelihood and 2) we would hate for it to become devalued. THANK YOU for understanding <3

When you click on the zoom link you will be required to authenticate yourself by signing into your zoom account and entering your full name and email address. This is essential as if your name is not entered correctly (it must be the name you booked with) you will not be permitted into the course. You can create your free zoom account now here.

Courses are not recorded to be shared for public or private distribution. If you cannot commit to the time of the course taking place then we recommend you book a different date/time.

We are very happy for you to take notes or to take pictures of the screen to refer back to later, but screen recording of the course is not permitted.

You do not need to have your camera turned on during the course but can if you like! We love seeing nods and smiles however there is no pressure either way. Your microphone will be muted for the duration of the course.
